Enabling future-focused digital and physical learning environments that support flexible, inclusive and engaging student learning.
Purpose
This initiative establishes a coordinated, future-focused approach to learning environments across UOW—integrating physical, digital and hybrid spaces to support inclusive, flexible and engaging student experiences.
Learning environments extend beyond classrooms and technologies to encompass the full ecosystem in which learning occurs. This initiative will build the evidence base, governance and capability required to guide future investment and innovation.
By 2030, all UOW students—across campuses and modes—will experience purposefully designed learning environments that support engagement, collaboration and success, with staff equipped to use these environments with confidence.

Context

UOW has a significant opportunity to further strengthen and connect its approach to learning environments—aligning physical spaces, digital platforms and pedagogy into a cohesive ecosystem that supports its strategic ambitions.
